My understanding of the feedback

I was provided with lots of feedback from my final pitch and the video shows my understanding of the feedback. I have also written out further discussions.

I was told to make the magazine more local, less broad and link back to North London. From this I understand that I need to change how I am going to represent the magazine, this will reinforce that the magazine is based around North London, by making it more local I am linking it back to the brief which required the magazine to be based solely around North London.

I was advised to include discounts to local venues and publicise magazine events, so this is something I will look in to.

With regards to my target audience, I was told to narrow target audience will make it easier in general. From this I know I need to modify and identify what target audience would be the most suitable to aim at, this is helpful and necessary to do as narrowing down my target audience will make selling the magazine simple as the magazines imagery and wording would solely be based around a smaller target audience rather than a large target audeince.

I received lots of feedback about my fonts. I was advised to change my font to something bold for masthead, especially because of target audience - Chunk five is stronger than kelvinized. I was told that fragment may be to difficult to read and chunk five is too western, so I know I need to change that. They did however like my body copy font.

Another piece of feedback I received regarding my front cover was that it isn't busy enough, so from this I understand that I need to work with colours outlines and angles, use a simpler font and then change it during the production stage.

I was told to change my colour scheme so that it informs target audience. I know that different colours appeal to an older target audience/a younger target audience, therefore I need to think about how to change my colour scheme.

I need to consider the design of my double page spread images and words so that they spread out across the pages. I understand that my idea needs to be changed and improved so I can meet the criteria of the brief, changing my idea will lead to the double page spread being filled up with imagery and wording that covers the whole page and leaves no gaps.
